I made this painting in honor of Hillary Clinton, and in hopes that she will run for president in 2016. She is painted holding a tree for life and education (hidden human rights and women's rights logos inside), she is also holding scales like the lady of justice balancing an eagle and a dove. Hillary is standing in front of a sun rise for new beginnings and she is shaking hands with the world. I added the american dream/family on top of the world and the clinton foundation logo below - the family has done a lot of great things for the people of the world. She is wearing the crown of the Statue of Liberty and there's an american flag in the corner. Hillary is also depicted as Athena with the owl on her shoulder, symbolizing wisdom and intelligence.
This painting was featured at the 2016 Politicon in Los Angeles, and shown on Criminal Minds, a CBS TV series.

My parents say I started drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon, starting out with the usual doodles and progressing to portraits at 10 years old. I grew up in a small town in Northern Denmark surrounded by beautiful nature and the ocean, it was very easy to find inspiration to draw. I won many drawing contests and was inspired to try paints. I finished school early at age 17 from business school and started to travel, my first stop was Oxford, England, I was so inspired by the architecture and art there, I could have lived in the national museum in London, I couldn't get enough of the art there.
